James E. Bailey
Mr. Bailey has been practicing law since 1985. After serving as a law clerk in the State Supreme Court of Louisiana,
Mr. Bailey practiced general litigation for seven years, specializing in complex cases and state and federal
appeals.
In 1992, Mr. Bailey became a professor at Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland. He has written numerous articles
on a variety of legal issues and has lectured in the United States, Great Britain and Japan. In 2000, Mr.
Bailey received a Fulbright Scholarship, lecturing and studying in Japan. Upon returning to the United States
in 2001, Mr. Bailey returned to the full-time practice in Bend.

Aron D. Yarmo
Mr. Yarmo has been fighting for the rights of Oregonians for 17 years. Mr. Yarmo began his career protecting
individuals’ rights against government agencies such as the Social Security Administration, United
States Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management. Since relocating from Eugene in 1996, Mr. Yarmo has
litigated over 40 jury trials.
Mr. Yarmo is a graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law. He received his undergraduate degree from
the University of California, at Berkeley. Following his admission to the Oregon Bar, Mr. Yarmo served as
Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Kip Leonard before embarking on a successful career as a litigator.
